Stephen and I met online..yes it does actually work! We exchanged phone numbers and we text each other for a couple of days. One night while he was out with friends apparently his phone wanted to keep calling me and we talked. Our first talk was all about football....the Florida vs Alabama game. We disagreed about who's team was better. That night started it all. The next night we stayed on the phone from 8pm to about 6am and he decided to call into work "sick". All that week he would call me/text me throughout the day and night and finally he told me he was coming to Mississippi to see me. I was nervous as everything but I knew something was different about this boy. We met in Starkville and hung out, I went home and thought he had done the same but no he called wanting to see me again and then he met my parents. When he had to leave that day I cried like a baby... I knew in my heart then I was falling in love.  One weekend I visited him and he kept telling me "I'm taking you somewhere, its a suprise."Considering we had already talked about marriage at this point I had in my mind he was going to propose...He took me to one of the local lakes and was the sweetest guy ever so in my mind "Yep he's asking me tonight" Ha but he didn't I was upset. Two days later we're at a friends house and I decided to go outside for some fresh air and he comes outside behind me. I'm sitting in the truck and he decides he wants to talk so we start talking. Next thing I know he's pulling me out of the truck and gets down on one knee and says " Leah, will you marry me?" I looked at him & laughed cause I didn't think he was actually serious... I never thought it to happen this way. I looked down and realized he had tears in his eyes and knew he was serious so I said yes. His friend John came around at that time and was on the phone and said "Steve what are you doing" and Stephen told him. I had a camera in my back-pocket so I gave it to John & told him I wanted pictures.Next thing I know...people I don't even know are telling me "Congratulations". As a little girl I always wanted the perfect proposal..or what I thought was perfect at that time. Now, I look back and I remember that night like it was yesterday and it's the perfect proposal to me :)
